

If you want to change the settings for the backburner Manager then go to the “Edit” drop down menu and select “General Settings”. With the Backburner Manager Started you can continue on to setting up the render nodes, or you can change the settings for the Manager. In Apps View scroll until you get to the Autodesk Groupings, look for “Autodesk Backburner 2015” then launch “Manager”. In Windows 8, 8.1 or Server 2012, Server 2012 R2 go to the “Start Screen” then select the arrow in the lower left corner of the screen to see the loaded applications in Apps View. In Windows 7, or Windows server 2008, Server 2008 R2 go to the Windows start menu then go to “All Programs” then to Autodesk, then “Autodesk Backburner 2015” then launch “Manager”. When the Install is finished select the Finish button in the install wizard. You are then prompted with a final chance to alter any installation settings, to proceed with the installation select Install If you don’t plan to make any changes select Next You are then prompted to change the Backburner Installation location, the default is C:\Program Files (x86)\Autodesk\Backburner. In the Autodesk Backburner 2015 Installshield Wizard select Next Extract the downloaded zip file to a folder and then run backburner.msi Download Backburner from the Autodesk Exchange Apps store and copy it to the server you plan to install Backburner Manager on. Since the server will not be joining in as part of the render node team, I’m installing Backburner by itself.
